Recruitment and Retention
Our recruitment and retention strategy links together the following:
- DEMAT Talent Map – to audit the current talent we have across the schools
- DEMAT CPD Strategy – Teaching and support staff
- DEMAT recruitment strategies – by forming partnerships with selected partners to support recruitment across our academies
- DEMAT Teaching School approach
We all recognise the challenges we face with recruitment and retention, typically this is one of our most significant issues given the shortages of high quality school leaders and teaching staff.
At DEMAT we are actively seeking innovative and creative ways of how we can support our schools with this challenge.
We have recently subscribed to Cambridgeshire County Council’s ‘Teach in Cambridgeshire’ and funded this centrally on behalf of our schools, to provide access to an Intern and NQT pool.
