Welcome from the DEMAT Chair of Trustees Peter Maxwell
On behalf of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust, welcome to our website.
We are committed to providing every child with the highest quality education and help them achieve their full potential.
The Trust consists of 39 primary schools, 7,000 pupils, 1,179 members of staff and 425 trustees and governors.
Our ambition is for our children to flourish, build friendships, expand their horizons and contribute to their communities.
Most importantly, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional learning experience. We want to fulfil our five core values – Love, Community, Trust, Respect and Ambition.

Chair of the Board of Trustees
The DEMAT Promise
I would like to introduce the DEMAT Promise. It is our pledge to put children at the heart of everything we do.
We are committed to providing the best education for children of all faiths and none, underpinned by our Christian distinctiveness.
As a Trust, we will deliver a broad curriculum which engages, enthuses and inspires in a learning environment. And, as a result, every student will have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
We recognise the importance of continually improving the quality of education across our schools.
DEMAT will invest in the development of our curriculum, teaching and resources to ensure our core values are realised.
Each school has its own history and identity. And we recognise the growth of the Trust must preserve these characteristics.
We believe in a sustainable approach to education, finances and the environment. Therefore, we will develop approaches to ensure we uphold these standards in the future.
The DEMAT Promise sets our vision for our staff, our local communities and, most importantly, our children.
And these core values are important to us, ensuring we deliver educational excellence across all of our schools.

Peter Maxwell, Chair of the Trustees
