Special event will shine a light on careers at DEMAT

February 14, 2023

The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) is looking forward to holding its first ever careers event next month which will showcase the wide variety of roles available across the Trust.

The team at the Trust encourages anyone who is interested in a career in education to come along and find out more about the many rewarding jobs on offer ranging from teaching to HR and finance.

DEMAT operates 39 primary schools across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk and is committed to providing a high-quality education, meaning it looks to employ only the best candidates for positions in teaching and as part of the central teams.

The event is open to all and will be held on Thursday, March 23, in the Lady Chapel at Ely Cathedral from 5-7pm.

Those attending can find out more about teaching and leaderships roles within the Trust’s schools as well as teaching assistant openings.

In addition to classroom roles, the Trust will highlight careers available as part of the central team, in departments including finance, HR, administration and premise management.

CEO Adrian Ball said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible to our Careers at DEMAT event and hope that among those attending will be lots of potential new employees ready to join our dynamic Trust.

“At DEMAT, we pledge to put children at the heart of everything we do.

“That is made possible by our incredible team of staff, both in schools and our central teams, who are committed to this, supported by our overarching values of love, community, respect, trust and ambition.

“We look forward to welcoming new talent into the Trust and supporting their exciting career path within DEMAT.”
