St Luke’s pupils transform perform nativity to biggest ever audience
The youngest pupils at St Luke’s Primary School in Cambridge performed to a packed audience this December.

Squirrel class shook off their school uniforms and transformed into a cast of festive characters from the three kings, to the perfect angels and of course a whole flock of sheep.
The cast was made up of the school’s reception class and years one and two and they performed their nativity in front of a packed audience including parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and lots of friends.
Staff said the children were word-perfect and performed beautifully.
EYFS Governor Marion Leeper said: “Wow! What e performance, I was so impressed, it was delightful to see the class do so well”
Headteacher Beccy Ireland-Curtis added: “The children have been working very hard on their performance. Their joy at retelling the story of Jesus' birth has been evident in their excitement and delight at being able to share their work with their parents and wider family.
“We had a record-breaking turnout of guests to see the show and it was lovely to see the community sharing in the work of the school.”
